Rotary Club of Medway
Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland (RIBI) has over 50,000 members and we are always keen to welcome new Rotarians. You may have been invited to attend by one of our members or you may have contacted us in response to a promotional flyer at one of our many events, perhaps you read a report on us in the local press. Whichever way this was done you are more than welcome to come along as a guest to one of our weekly meetings and enjoy the social and community aspects of our club that has quietly (sometimes) gone about improving the quality of life of less fortunate people in our community here in Medway and in Rotary International worldwide for over 100 years.
Anyone can join our club. We have no restrictions on eligibility (see Equality and Diversity Statement) other than the expectation that you will become a willing and active participant in our many activities, fundraisers and social functions. Each club has a number of committees that carry out its business and you will be expected to participate in one of these committees.
Currently we have five committees:
Becoming a Rotarian is purely voluntary, but there are some expectations.

Activities: Participation in all other club, District 1120 (Kent, East Sussex and part of South London) and RIBI (Rotary GB and Ireland) events is voluntary.
Financial: Annual subscriptions (details available prior to becoming a member).
